My Community Hero Nominations

We are launching the Community Heroes Program February 2023. Do you know someone who is going above and beyond in our community? Nominate them today! With two categories- under 18 & over 18 we want to showcase Heroes of all ages in our community. 

North Grenville Budget 2023 Public Consultation

On February 22 – 23, 2023 the Municipality of North Grenville is hosting 3 public consultations to review North Grenville’s 2023 budget. Check out the event calendar to learn more about in person and virtual consultations. 

Pedestrian Crosswalks

The Kemptville Rail Trail has become a key outdoor activity staple in the summer and winter months. The Municipality has recently added pedestrian crossings at key intersections of the Rail Trail to better cater to the community and its usage. 

Annual KDCA Events

Each year we host various community events to support our mission of fostering and supporting a resilient community. These events can not happen without the community and volunteers who make them possible! Check back for more information throughout the year as we announce more events. 

Your KDCA is busy planning this year’s Canada Day 2023 at Riverside Park – even with the construction!

Amazing live performances by local talent, FUN events throughout the park including new and inclusive activities at the Family Zone! We have food vendors, and plenty of new and exciting vendors showcasing their goods.

Each year in November as we approach the holiday season, your local KDCA hosts the Santa Claus Parade! Take a peak at the photos from past years and watch our social media channels for more information for 2022. 

There are people in our lives and in our community who make a huge difference, going above and beyond to help out. With the goal of recognizing the heroes in our community, we launched the My Community Heroes program with two categories: Under 18 and Above 18.  For 2023 the nomination period runs from February 1st to March 3rd.

KDCA is managed by a board of volunteers from the community, who form the KDCA Board of Directors and Executive. A variety of committees made up of interested Kemptville residents and Business Owners help run KDCA's activities. There is a committee that manages the KDCA's program offerings, including special events, and community development.
